Chapter 37. 🧡✨

My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all that God has bestowed upon my life. The blessings, the lessons, the people, the experiences, and above all, the purpose placed on my heart.

One of the greatest gifts of growing older as a woman has been learning to truly step into my power. With each passing year, I find myself becoming more grounded in who I am, more confident in what I have to offer, and more intentional about how I show up in this world before my time here expires.

The older I get, the clearer my purpose becomes. I’m learning that there is so much power in knowing who you are, embracing your journey, and recognizing what you were placed here to do.

My prayer is that the next 37(+) years brings even greater opportunities to live out that purpose, to uplift, empower, open doors, and leave this world a little better than I found it, for our children and generations to come.

Here’s to 37 years of God’s grace, protection, and guiding me in stepping fully into the woman I was created to be. 🙏🏿🧡 by @mari_agory

Every tree was once a tiny seed. 🌱🌳

During our visit to Akot Primary School in Rumbek East, South Sudan, I had the honor of speaking to the students beneath this beautiful, towering tree.

I pointed to the tree and reminded them that each and every one of them is a seed, full of potential, purpose, and possibility.

Just as this magnificent tree was once a tiny seed that needed water, sunlight, care, and nurturing to grow, so too must they nurture themselves through education, curiosity, discipline, and determination.

As part of our visit, SEED Foundation distributed school supplies, including our SEED notebooks. I encouraged every student to use their notebook to write down their dreams, aspirations, and goals, no matter how big or small.

I reminded them that every dream is a seed. Every ambition is a seed. Every goal is a seed. And like any seed, those dreams must be planted, nurtured, and cared for if they are to grow.

One day, with patience, perseverance, and education, those little seeds can grow into something as magnificent as the very tree that stood before us.

And perhaps one day, just like this tree providing shade and shelter to the community gathered beneath it, they too will grow to uplift, inspire, and provide opportunities for generations that come after them.

This is the very essence of SEED Foundation. We believe that when we invest in education, we are planting seeds whose impact will extend far beyond our lifetime.

One seed. One student. One teacher. One school at a time. 🌱🇸🇸
