I had the best time celebrating the opening of Fogo de Chão @fogo in Peabody, MA last week.
Everything we tried was incredible!!! From all the different cuts of meat and nonstop appetizers to the rosé and even a special Brazilian sugar cane rum. But I have to say, the showstopper for me was the salad bar. 😍 There were SO many options, and I definitely took my time trying to build the perfect plate.
Such a fun experience and an amazing addition to the North Shore! We even left with a bottle of wine as a gift. 🍷 Thank you so much for having me!

On our second day in Italy before our wedding, we explored Sant’Andrea, the village where my ancestors are from, overlooking the Ionian Sea. We visited the home of Blessed Mariantonia Samà, wandered through beautiful churches and a convent, and saw a painting commissioned by Monsignor Mongiardo.
We ended the evening with local specialties, including fiscottini and biscottini. Such a special way to experience the village and connect with my family’s roots. 🍋
Il nostro secondo giorno in Italia, prima del matrimonio, abbiamo esplorato Sant’Andrea, il paese d’origine dei miei antenati, affacciato sul Mar Ionio. Abbiamo visitato la casa della Beata Mariantonia Samà, alcune bellissime chiese e un convento, e ammirato un dipinto commissionato da Monsignor Mongiardo.
Abbiamo concluso la serata gustando specialità locali, tra cui fiscottini e biscottini. Un modo davvero speciale per conoscere il paese e riscoprire le radici della mia famiglia. @prolocosantandrea

A little elbow grease, a lot of love, and a meal I’ll never forget.
Cooking alongside the lovely women of Sant’Andrea @prolocosantandrea was such a special way to begin our wedding celebrations in Calabria. From homemade zeppole to stuffed eggplant, potatoes, and peppers, every dish was full of fresh ingredients and tradition. Frying the zeppole was my favorite part, and even this eggplant skeptic went back for more!
Add a surprise bagpipe performance and the warmest hospitality, and you have an afternoon to remember. Thank you for sharing your recipes, your time, and a little piece of your home with us. 💛
Un po’ di olio di gomito, tanto amore e un pasto che non dimenticherò mai.
Cucinare insieme alle splendide donne di Sant’Andrea è stato un modo speciale per dare inizio ai festeggiamenti del nostro matrimonio in Calabria. Dalle zeppole fatte in casa alle melanzane ripiene, alle patate e ai peperoni, ogni piatto era ricco di ingredienti freschi e tradizione. Friggere le zeppole è stata la mia parte preferita e persino io, che di solito non amo le melanzane, ho fatto il bis!
Con un’esibizione di cornamusa a sorpresa e un’accoglienza calorosissima, è stato un pomeriggio da ricordare. Grazie per aver condiviso con noi le vostre ricette, il vostro tempo e un pezzetto di casa vostra. 💛

Authentic handmade dumplings, sizzling beef, and Chinese gnocchi. Novo Lantern @novolantern.boston in Boston’s South End serves up some seriously delicious authentic Chinese dishes. Everything we tried was packed with flavor, but the Dan Dan Gnocchi and Peking Duck were definite standouts. Highly recommend adding this spot to your Boston food list! 🥟

Noah’s BBQ @noahs_bbq in Braintree at the south shore plaza is the quality BBQ Massachusetts needed. We tried 3 meats and 4 sides, and our favorites were the brisket, fried rice, and their homemade BBQ sauces.
