no matter how much people say it, nothing in life will ever prepare you to lose a loved one. today, we put bailey down as she was suffering with lymphoma that was attacking her body aggressively. it hurt to see her this way which is why putting her down felt like the best option rather than seeing in distress. this feels wrong but i hope she knows we are doing this to help her. she fought this battle for over a month but she wasn’t the same anymore. i never thought about when getting a dog it would be the best years of my life, but it actually puts you in the biggest heartbreak you will ever experience. bailey was an amazing dog that never attacked humans or other dogs, didn’t make messes, didn’t bite, or show any forms of aggression. she constantly cheered me up when i sad and it’s the best feeling to walk through the door and be greeted with a toy and a wagging tail. now that it’s truly over, i hope to see her in every lifetime. i would sell my soul to hug her, cuddle her, kiss her, give give her ice cream, play with her favorite toys, see her be happy for just one more day, and even take her to the beach again. thank you for the best 8 years of my life, bailey. i love you infinitely and i will miss you so incredibly much. rip to the sweetest dog❤️ by @maria_mccarthy01
