I am over the moon! This summer served me well. I learned so much about myself as a person and an artist. I accomplished many goals. I made so many wonderful friends. I got my eyes opened to new ideas and renegotiated a lot of things in terms of my life and career. I grew so much and through so much this summer it’s hard to believe it was only three months!

Rochester was good to me. Finger Lakes Opera and everyone I worked with this summer was good to me. I can’t really say anymore but thank you.

Grateful and tired is where I am now. If you don’t hear from me for a little while it’s because I’m napping before school starts. ❤️✌🏾

For those of you wondering what might be next for me! I am excited to officially announce my enrollment at CCM for my Artist Diploma! I am BEYOND excited to continue my professional and artistic growth in this field.

I want to thank my community, my colleagues, my teacher, and my coach for pushing forward. I’ve grown so much at the University of Kentucky. It was a pleasure to sing for this morning’s graduation after having walked yesterday. I'm so glad I was able to be a part of ushering in the festivities for those graduates with our national anthem.

The citizens of America are truly brave for taking on every day during these times. And those of us taking our next steps are grateful to be reminded of that bravery. Congratulations to everyone who has finished this semester and is on to the next step! #GoCats #universityofkentuckywildcats

Wow wow wow!

I have (allegedly) mastered music! I'm so lucky to have been celebrated by and celebrate alongside all my colleagues, friends, and family. These last two years have been a journey that I wouldn't trade for the WORLD! I'm richly blessed and abundantly happy!

I have been VERY busy. Despite all that, I’m very happy to announce the date and time for my master’s recital. For those unable to attend person, I plan to have it live-streamed on both Facebook and Instagram. Be on the lookout!

Now that things have (sort of) settled down, I’m gonna post about this show and all the lovely people I was blessed to work with! I am grateful for the chance to be a part of telling this beautiful and poignant story during these present times. From my colleagues whom I was given the pleasure to perform alongside, to our director Sarah Meyers, to everyone on the creative team, and the crew! What lovely, wonderful, and inspiring human beings.

Let’s not forget Mark Campbell and Paul Moravec for their dedication to telling the stories of the people in such a beautiful way. I am forever grateful to have been a part of this World Premiere of A Nation of Others.

January has been doing her THANG!!

I am so very grateful to have been afforded the opportunity to perform with the @american_spiritual_ensemble_ for two legs of their winter tour. It has been grate reuniting with friends, making new friends, experiencing my first performance at the Met, and spending time with such lovely and talented people!

This time together has also taken me back across the Atlantic to Nantes, France to participate in the La Folle Journeé! Not only has performing been a blast but being surrounded by all those musicians and music lovers has been such a delight. AND I got a chance to practice my French!

Overall, I’m grateful and ready to tackle this last semester of my Master’s degree. Send up a prayer and good vibes ❤️ by @mariahegraves

I try not to play favorites……

But look at these photos!! Can you blame me for being smitten? Mariah is a born performer, a natural comedienne, drop-dead gorgeous, and a woman who clearly deserves to have the world laid at her feet. Even after only a couple hours with her I could tell she was someone truly special. Catch her out there making audience’s spirits soar with her phenomenal voice. by @mariahegraves

This year has brought so many blessings and so many lessons. I am forever grateful to my ever-expanding and supportive community. I’m thankful for all the opportunities that have grown me in my craft, my personal life, and shifted my perspective. Thank you to everyone who is watching and everyone who supports me in any way.

Okay! Here’s the big announcement! I have new headshots and a lot of performances coming up! I’m still waiting on some papers to sign and extra info but a “season” announcement will be happening soon.

What a fun season of performing so far!

These past few months have been so fulfilling and busy. It’s not over just yet but we’re coming up on the end (pray my strength for this last audition)! I’m grateful for all I’ve learned, experienced, and all the people I’ve met so far. What a wonderful time.
