Felix the Cat was another star of the 1932 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In MURDER ON 34th STREET, he and the heroine have an epic battle of wills. He's bigger, but she's wilier. Does Felix make it to the end of the parade? Find out in MURDER ON 34th STREET—in stores tomorrow! #Minotaur_Books #Christmascozies #macys by @mariahfredericks

This is Andy. He made his debut in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1932. He's also a key character in MURDER ON 34TH STREET—which comes out in two weeks on October 6th. Pick up a copy and find out what happens to Andy. (He does look worried, doesn't he?) #Macy's #Macysparadewiki #Christmascozies by @mariahfredericks

This is the picket sign my mom wore in the 1970s to protest unequal pay and opportunities at the New York Times. Happy Labor Day! by @mariahfredericks

Why yes I did see Steel Magnolias in a theater yesterday with two good friends and we all cried, so there. Huge cheer when Dolly Parton’s came onscreen. by @mariahfredericks
