I’ll never be someone who cares much about the material things; the buckles, banners, or ribbons. Those things are nice, but they’ve never been what made the fair special to me.
I’ll remember the late nights, the early mornings, the random little tasks that somehow became my favorite parts, and all the people I got to share it with. I’ll remember being tired, busy, and probably running on very little sleep, but still loving being part of something bigger than myself.
I know I’ll forget some of the results and the things we won, but I don’t think I’ll ever forget what it felt like to be part of the county fair. And as a senior, knowing this was my last one makes all of those little moments mean even more. 🤎 #seniorphotoshoot taken in Baxter County Fairgrounds by @mariahlynn098

CPC 2026! 💙
•
My last CPC as a member is something I’ll never forget. From the best state officers to the hardworking staff, they made this week one for the books. I’m so thankful for my advisor and all the other advisors who helped make this experience so memorable.

I’m definitely sad to say goodbye to CPC, but like Winnie the Pooh said, “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”❤️ by @mariahlynn098

I didn’t realize while we were making these memories that one day they’d become the memories I’d hold onto the most.

This year’s theme was Standing Proud, and this week reminded me exactly why. Proud of the memories, the friendships, the lessons, and the people who helped shape me along the way.

My last ALC as an FFA member. My last trip with the advisor who became so much more than just a teacher. Somewhere between the long drives, random conversations, laughter, and life lessons, this became a chapter I’ll never stop being grateful for.

It’s hard knowing there won’t be another trip quite like this one, but if there’s one thing this week reminded me, it’s how lucky I am to have been part of it all.

Standing proud of where I’ve been, the people who got me here, and the memories I’ll carry with me long after my time as a FFA member is over. 💙💛 by @mariahlynn098

And just like that the year is over. Every early morning to every late night was worth it. From the endless laughs we had while elk calling to the endless tears, I am beyond grateful for it all. As I get one last chance to serve as the Cotter FFA President I want to reflect on the year that has changed me the most. I will forever cherish this year and hold it close to my heart. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here and provided a shoulder to cry on (cause we all know I do that a lot) but also to the people who helped me find my home. by @mariahlynn098
