Quick story time 😝 swipe to read ➡️

Posted one of my paintings on FB Marketplace randomly last weekend just to see how my art would do in the “market” haha

I priced it at €200 at first (a bit delulu but hey u gotta know your worth😝), which was already around €100 lower than similar unframed works I saw online from legit artists using the same materials.

Then marked it down to €150 so that whoever wants to buy it still has budget to frame it. Heehee

Just over a day, i got messages, 1 even actually asked if they could see it in person first. and suddenly I was like… wait, do I really want to sell this?? 😭

It’s supposed to be part of a 3-piece abstract series (pagbigyan n’yo na, ADHD brain 😂) and apparently I already have attachment issues with my own paintings!!!

*side note lang, google translated the message as german, so i replied in german. turned out the buyer’s french 🥲🤸 google translate be messing with my biz!!!

But srsly tho, it was such a nice feeling knowing someone saw it and thought, “yeah, I’d actually want that (or even consider) in my home.” 🥹

And tbh, that gave me a bit more motivation to keep painting, whether people appreciate it or not ❤️

So yeah… now on hold for now. maybe when I’m emotionally ready to let my art go. or maybe I’ll just sell all 3 as a set once the series is done. Idk. Let’s see HAHAHHAA by @mariaizzadt
