It’s a wrap! Last wedding of the season summarize a great yea! It was amazing to be part of every love story, designing and curating each wedding in beautiful destinations in Mexico from the colonial cobblestone streets of San Miguel de Allende, wild lush jungle and turquoise sea and white sand beaches of tulum, the majestic architecture of the haciendas in Merida, to the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in Holbox and of course the cosmopolitan and cultural richness of Mexico City Can’t wait to see all the new magical moments that the new year will bring and to be part of new love stories . . I absolutely love behind the scenes shots, but I have to confess that even though sometimes modeling is part of the job it is undoubtedly the hardest part and the one I’m least good at, so I’m grateful to be the designer Speaking of this ceremony, I loved designing this modern, minimalist look; the mirrored arch and its impressive size undoubtedly and white anthuriums growing from the sand made the jungle beach setting at Casa Malca look spectacular, reinforcing my belief that less is more . . Okay, getting married over a cenote is going to be hard to top. 🌴❤️‍🔥⁠ ⁠ Laura + Stephen gave their designer one word for the wedding: funky. And somehow that turned into exactly the kind of wedding we want to see more of: bold, personal, a little unexpected, and completely its own thing.⁠ ⁠ A hand-painted ceremony platform suspended over the water.
