What if the ‘witches’ told their own stories?

For centuries, women with knowledge, influence or an independent voice were accused of witchcraft. In They Have Waited Long Enough, their stories are given a new voice.

Ragazze Quartet, soprano Katharine Dain, duduk player Raphaëla Danksagmüller and percussionists Marianna Soroka and Maria Martpay bring new music by five female composers to life, inspired by historical figures and mythical characters. From Mother Shipton, the fifteenth-century prophet from Yorkshire, to Hekate, the Greek goddess of magic and transformation: their stories return through music.

A powerful programme about persecution, imagination and women whose voices could not be erased.

Tickets are still available for this special concert! 🎟️ Book your tickets via the link in bio.

Op 14 november volgt A Life in a Day in de Doelen.
