[ARTIST SPOTLIGHT]

Being active since 2012 in the music scene, and taking part in multiple collectives along the way, Marian has gone from passionate party goer to obscure record collector over the last couple of years.

With a particular taste for psychedelic frequencies, Marian’s sets blend bass-driven electro with progressive and trance creating an introspective yet pumping soundscape, whether he’s warming up the night or serving a morning afterparty coffee.

Sat. 07 March | Aethernativ

From the deeper corners of the mind to the simple get-together moments, everything is meant to be shared and experienced. OMEN isn’t trying to define anything. We just exist in the same space until something gives. Until sounds respond to each other and the room reacts with them.

For the second session, it only made sense to go back to where it feels natural — back to back with a good old friend, @mar.ci___

Juno Download Review :
'' The man they call 'the Romanian Underground Resistance', electro and techno veteran Andrew Red Hand adds another exceedingly cool one to the already lengthy list of the best techno labels in the world that he's released on. 'Gritty Bass' does what it says on the tin for sure, pinned down with a sturdy 4/4 beat and progressing from gorgeously gloopy synths and a vaguely apocalyptic atmospheric to a take in woozy, partially reversed church organ and bleepy frills. Like all his best stuff it's hard as nails but as funky as it is chunky, a sure fire 3am tune that will stomp all over any notions of calling that taxi home. This being Gigolos, naturally there's a DJ Hell mix on the flip, sounding like the kind of marauding techno/disco hybrid that'll be probably be playing when the four horseman finally ride over the horizon to put an end to our sorry civilisation. Top notch techno gear whichever one you go for.''

OMEN Series.

how it feels to have a bold idea?
what if everything could collide creatively?
it’s obvious that certain sounds shouldn’t be kept apart.
you hear them cross your path and something shifts.
no one is really looking for a genre.
that’s the whole point. it’s the feeling that matters.

OMEN is just the name that kept getting stuck in my head, day after day. the moment I realized the signs were there all along, and now everything is already colliding. it started to feel personal. like an extension of how I think, how I create, how I evolve.

Not a concept. Not a format. Not a regularity.
Just my personal way of seeing things. Almost like a prophecy—to keep moving forward, to unsettle comfort, to make space for artists to step beyond what they already know. To push creative boundaries. A space for all kinds of characters, musical preferences, visions. by @marianbelean
