After graduating summa cum laude and getting my masters degree, went on this amazing trip after winning permits to Angels Landing which I’ve been dying to do for 2 years now! We started at 3:30 am and walked to the trailhead worrying about mountain lions lol, but we made it 💪 taken in Zion National Park by @mariarunsfree

My home, my love, my baby. 🤍

My sweet Macy turned 6 years young the other day. Her birthday is a day that feels both beautiful and bittersweet, because it also marks three years since my grandmother passed away.

For a long time, those two dates have felt strangely intertwined in my heart. But I’ve come to love the thought that maybe there’s a little connection between them — that on a day I miss my grandma most, I also get to celebrate the little soul who brings me so much love and happiness.

In a way, it feels like I get to carry a little piece of my grandma with me through Macy. 🤍

Everyone keeps asking when I’m going to get married, have kids, settle down, buy a house…

Meanwhile, I’m over here booking the flight, planning the trip, carrying my own backpack, figuring things out as I go, and building a life that actually feels like mine.

Maybe I’ll get married. Maybe I’ll have kids. Maybe my life will look completely different someday.

But I refuse to rush into someone else’s timeline just because it’s the one society handed me.

I spent way too long thinking I had to pick one.

The outdoorsy girl.
The girly girl.
The backpacker.
The luxury hotel girl.
The tropical girl.
The girl who somehow also loves freezing her ass off in the mountains.

Turns out… I’m all of them. 😂

You don’t have to fit into one aesthetic, one lifestyle, or one version of yourself. You can love the muddy trail and getting dressed up. You can sleep in a tent and book the nicest hotel in town.

Catch me where Wi-Fi doesn’t exist (preferably). Sometimes I just love to disconnect, leave the group chat on read, and trade screen time for mountain views. There is honestly nothing better than losing cell reception, turning off the noise, and letting the trail dictate the day.
