Sometimes I beat myself up because I feel like I should be able to do it all. Be the present mom and build a business at the same time. Be the wife my husband still finds sexy but also breastfeed and provide a safe place for my children with my body. Keep up socially but don’t overwhelm the “followed” because who do you think you are…But then I have moments like this weekend that remind me…screw that all we have is today and just enjoy it for what it is. Life is beautiful and you don’t need to do it all or be it all to make it yours. #motherhood #littlethingsthatmakemehappy by @mariasolvanbree

We did the whole grey thing for far too long, and beige just took things from meh to bleh. So I’d like to open us up to using white again. But not as you might traditionally be thinking. People often use a white or grey to give a feeling of clean but it often makes spaces feel sterile. And a home shouldn’t feel like a cold reception room. It should being feelings of warmth and coziness (or invigorate you and get you excited). Life update: we bought our first home! Which will also be my first design project. I’ve always worked to make our spaces unique to us but at the end of the day my hands were strapped with them being rentals. I’ve been hearing about this period of life called “the golden age”. It’s when your little ones are still small enough to see you as their world and your parents are still present to witness this life you created. It’s captured how I feel about my present so well. I want to bottle up these memories but at the same time just live them wholeheartedly. by @mariasolvanbree

I’m late sorry! I’ve been off the apps and living out this special time with my family. The last time I was in Argentina was before the COVID pandemic, making this reunion all that much more sentimental to me. To add to that, sharing pieces of myself with my babies and what makes them also who they are are moments that will live rent free in my head and my heart. At first, we were going to do this trip alone. But Cas, thought it would be really special (and really helpful) if we had our parents join us. So for those that are overwhelmed by traveling with your little ones…maybe this might help you too.
