More than ten years ago, I made BORDERS, a film about migration, vulnerability, and the children who find themselves caught between borders they never chose.

Today, seeing what is happening in Ceuta is deeply painful.

I wish that, after all these years, we had learned to do better.

To look beyond the word migrant.
To see the person.
The child.
The family.
The human being behind the statistics.

We may draw borders between countries, but there should never be a border around our capacity for compassion.

Perhaps progress is not only about building stronger borders, but about becoming better human beings.

I made BORDERS more than a decade ago.
Sadly, its questions are still with us.

“Run to the wild”.
Todavía experimentando!
Un fragmento de una canción en la que estoy trabajando para acompañar un proyecto cinematográfico que también está tomando forma.

Nace del deseo de soltar el miedo, volver al cuerpo y permitirse explorar. Estoy encontrando en la música otra manera de contar las historias que quiero llevar al cine.

Todavía en proceso. Hoy me apetecía compartir un pequeño pedazo de ese camino con vosotros.

Las imágenes, la expresión de nuestras voces, las memories y lo que no recordamos. Todo nos moldea, nos convierte en lo que somos.
No puedo separarlo, y en esa búsqueda de integrarlo todo, espero encontrarme.

Celebro esos momentos en los que te atreves a dejar atrás tus miedos y te das tiempo para descubrirte. También desde la madurez, con todo lo vivido y tanto todavía por explorar.

Estoy tomando ese tiempo. Para escucharme, probar y crear sin exigirme tenerlo todo resuelto. Estoy preparando proyectos muy íntimos que iré compartiendo poco a poco con vosotros.

Explorando, a través de la música, la imagen y la palabra, todo eso que nos hace humanos. 🖤

La música me alimenta el alma cada día más….con muchas ganas de seguir aprendiendo y disfrutando.💜

Has naufragado tantas veces marinera… por los valientes y por la vida ¿sigo trabajando en la canción?

So many times you’ve been shipwrecked, sailor…

Going back through old poems and improvising around them — letting words, images and fragments open new doors.

I want to begin this new course with the energy of exploration: looking inward, listening more closely, and giving myself permission to follow what I find there.

Wishing you all a year of discovery — of new ideas, new paths, and perhaps new versions of yourselves. ✨

Oil painting from my series 50.
Thanks very much to everyone that keeps supporting me and sharing my work.❤️
Music is becoming such a joy in this moment of my life. I am hoping to keep learning.

It feels like I can finally hear the songs I’ve been carrying within me all my life. 🎹
And while I was painting, I realised… isn’t that what we all do our entire lives?

We move.
It follows.
We turn toward the light.
It stretches.
We try to outrun it

This piece was born from that quiet conversation between who I am, who I’ve been, and the parts of me I’m still learning to embrace. The shadow is not the enemy. It is memory. It is fear. It is desire. It is truth. It is the part of us that refuses to disappear.

With my little knowledge of music, I sat at the piano and improvised over the painting — no plan, no perfection. Just feeling. Just breath. Just honesty. The notes came like footsteps, like hesitation, like courage.

Maybe art is simply this:
learning not to fight the shadow,
but to dance with it.

Mi primer sketch digital… creo que vendrán mucho más.
Hay figuras que no emergen de los sueños, los habitan.
Últimamente me encuentro transitando ese territorio , y cada trazo parece un diálogo entre la realidad y los sueños. Un puente invisible e infinito.

De este sentimiento están surgiendo cositas muy interesantes que tengo muchas ganas de compartir.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how life gives us pieces long before we know what to do with them.
Moments, emotions, fragments of experiences—we carry them, not realising they’re quietly waiting for their place in the bigger picture.

And then one day, almost without warning, the right collage appears.
Everything we’ve collected finally makes sense.
This piece is a reminder that nothing is random. Every fragment matters.
