Quick Fire Questions - @mariavomusic by @mariavomusic

🎙️ On Air Acoustic: Maria Vo

We’ve now had 15+ nationalities represented on the On Air Acoustic platform, but this one felt a little bit special.

Christopher Lane used to live just a stone’s throw away from Maria Vo in Auckland, New Zealand, yet the two never actually met there. Instead, their first meeting happened right here in Watford, at the VIBE 107.6 studio, as Maria became the 73rd act to join On Air Acoustic.

Music has always been a huge part of Maria’s life, with influences from artists of the Soviet Union era being passed down through her parents. But it was after moving to London that Maria made the leap from performing covers to becoming a singer-songwriter.

And how lucky were we, and everyone listening, that she did!

Maria performed three original tracks: Infinity of Me, Picture of Love, and her two-version track Get Through This, before finishing with a beautiful cover of her friend @grace0fmonaco Animals.

It was a genuinely special session, and we’re very excited to see where Maria’s musical journey takes her next. 🎶✨ by @mariavomusic

We'll kick the night off with some original music sets, invite some guests onstage and then end the night with a jamming session 🔥 by @mariavomusic
