I am honored to be featured in Luxe Magazine’s Influential Women of Design, where I share a bit about my journey and the ideas that continue to shape my work.

When designing a home, I often think about the moments that will unfold within it. My goal is always to create spaces that feel welcoming and layered, where connection, conversation, and everyday life naturally take place.

My work is rooted in the belief that well-designed spaces should support the way people live, gathering beauty, warmth, and meaning over time.

It is truly a privilege to be included in a publication that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the women shaping the design industry.

Recognition is never the goal, but when it arrives from a publication as venerable as Architectural Digest, it’s deeply humbling.

I'm honored to be named among AD PRO's 18 Southwestern designers, architects, and builders to know, alongside a community of creatives who draw from the richness of this region’s landscape, texture, and tradition.

The featured space—a quiet kitchen in Sedona—was designed as a refuge, where proportion and restraint give way to ease and presence.

Thank you, AD, for seeing the soul of the work. Read the feature via the link in my bio.

I am honored to be featured in Luxe Magazine, where I share a bit about my journey and design philosophy.

With a background in interior design and architectural technology, my approach has always been rooted in balance — creating spaces that are streamlined and timeless, yet touched with warmth.

I believe design should speak to the soul while supporting the natural rhythms of daily life.

In the feature, I share a few personal inspirations — my love for designing kitchens, admiration for the layered beauty of Argentina, and a quiet dream of designing gardens.

Each reflects the same guiding thread: a devotion to spaces that feel both intentional and alive.

It’s a joy to share the passions that continue to shape my work and to be reminded that design, at its heart, is a lifelong conversation between creativity and purpose.

Continuing our New Home Series, today we’re taking a closer look at the primary bedroom and bathroom, where thoughtful material selections are beginning to bring these spaces together.

In the bedroom, a beautiful fireplace slab introduces subtle tones of silver, charcoal, and taupe, creating a palette that will carry into the bedding and drapery selections.

Moving into the bathroom, we’re incorporating marble-inspired porcelain, textured finishes, and grasscloth-inspired cabinetry to introduce depth and interest while maintaining a sense of calm.

Although each space serves a different purpose, the goal is to create a natural connection between them through materials, color, and texture.

These are the details we handle that allow a home to feel cohesive, intentional, and entirely your own.

This World Cities Day, we're finding inspiration in Assisi, Italy, where centuries of history are woven into every street, stone wall, and architectural detail.

Throughout our travels in Italy, we've had the opportunity to experience so many beautiful cities, each with its own history, architecture, and sense of place. Today, we're highlighting Assisi.

The intricacy of a carved doorway. The character of weathered stone. The quiet beauty of narrow streets that have welcomed generations before us. Every corner tells a story, and nothing feels hurried or out of place.

It's places like these that continue to shape our perspective on design. A reminder that true beauty is found in craftsmanship, authenticity, and the details that give a space its soul.

The most meaningful spaces, much like the cities we fall in love with, are those that leave a lasting impression.

We are incredibly honored to be featured in Phoenix Home + Garden as part of their Ultimate Guide to Professional Architects, Builders and Designers in Arizona!

To have our work and design philosophy recognized alongside such talented industry professionals is truly meaningful.

At MariaZInteriors, we believe exceptional design begins with understanding the people who will call a space home. Their lifestyle, their travels, their stories, and the moments they hope to create. Every detail is thoughtfully considered to bring that vision to life, creating homes that feel as personal as they are beautiful.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our story and our passion for creating timeless, meaningful interiors.

Thank you, @phoenixhomeandgarden, for this wonderful feature!

Happy National Women’s Small Business Month!

MariaZInteriors was built on intention, authenticity, and a genuine love for what we do. A business that brings together our passion for design, the inspiration we gather through travel, and the meaningful relationships we form with the people who invite us into their homes.

This month, we’re reflecting on what it means to build something of your own, stay true to your vision, and find purpose in the work you do every day.

We’re so grateful for the clients, collaborators, and community who continue to be part of our story.

This National Color Day, we're finding inspiration in Italy, where color is woven into the architecture, landscapes, and everyday details that make each place so memorable.

For us, color is about so much more than a beautiful palette. It's about the way a space makes you feel, the places you've traveled, the memories you've collected, and the pieces that hold meaning.

Whether it's a subtle, earthy tone inspired by nature or a bold, expressive hue that brings depth and character, we believe color should feel like a natural extension of the people who call a space home.

The most meaningful color choices are never defined by what's trending, but by what feels authentic to you.

Some details are simply too beautiful to pass by.

This door at Ferragamo in Florence is one of them. From the carved wood to the intricate hardware, every detail speaks to a level of craftsmanship and consideration that has allowed it to remain just as captivating with time.

It is a philosophy we carry into our own work. Thoughtful design is never just about the larger vision. It is knowing where to invest, understanding how materials will live and age, and considering how every element contributes to the experience of a home. The details are never an afterthought. They are what give a space its character, depth, and sense of permanence.

If you are looking for a design partner who believes your home should feel considered down to the smallest detail, we would love to hear about what you are creating. Send us a message to start the conversation.

A Proud Moment for MariaZinteriors!

On Saturday, October 10, MariaZinteriors was honored with the prestigious ICONIC Award for Residential Design in the 6,500–8,500 square-foot category!

Although I was unable to attend the ceremony, as I am currently traveling through Italy, I was absolutely thrilled to receive this wonderful news!

This recognition is a meaningful milestone for our studio and a celebration of our passion for timeless design, architectural integrity, and exceptional craftsmanship.

I am deeply grateful to our wonderful clients and the talented architects, builders, artisans, and industry partners who help bring our visions to life.

We would also like to recognize The Collector’s House, with whom we worked to source some of the beautiful Alfonso Marina pieces, as well as art and accessories.

Thank you, ICONIC, for this incredible honor! MariaZinteriors is truly grateful to be recognized among such talented professionals in our industry.

Before the streets fill and the day begins, there is a quieter side of Florence.

Soft morning light, centuries of history, and the simple pleasure of walking with nowhere to rush to. There is something about mornings like these that reminds us to slow down, look a little closer, and appreciate the beauty already surrounding us.

Sometimes, that is the luxury of travel. And perhaps, of life and design, too.

October 1st marks the start of National Kitchen & Bath Month, celebrating two of the most personal and hardworking spaces in a home.

These are rooms where beauty and function have to exist in equal measure. Where the right stone, thoughtful lighting, custom cabinetry, and even the smallest hardware detail can shape not only how a space looks, but how it feels to live in every day.

We approach kitchens and baths by thinking beyond the finishes. How will you move through the space? What will make mornings feel easier? Where can we create a moment that feels distinctly yours?

We believe the most beautiful kitchens and baths are designed around the people who live in them and the way they want to live.

If you’re building or renovating and want to get these details right from the beginning, we’d love to be part of the process. Get in touch through the link in our bio.
