Our body’s are meant to move and that includes strength training, especially as we get older. There are many different ways to do this. The way I strength train now is very different from a few years ago. Life can present all kinds of challenges, so I’ve found full body workouts 3 times a week is doable and allows for plenty of recovery time.

It’s important that you start where you are. Where I am today is very different from where I was 3 years ago in the midst of chemo treatment for trip neg breast cancer. I also have the challenge of having Addison’s Disease (my adrenal glands were destroyed with immunotherapy treatments) - my point in sharing this is to say give yourself grace AND also move your body as best you can 💗 with compassion.
