ACCOUTREMENTS: PATENT LEATHER BUSTIER

This piece is lined on the interior with 3oz veg-tanned leather making it a very sturdy, double layered bustier. And bonus: the straps are removable!

This gorgeous taupe colour has become my new favourite and would look so chic styled with jeans.

While this style is on the longer side, I wore tested it out to dinner and was able to sit comfortably however I might try a shorter version soon so stay tuned!

Inspired by Celine Dion’s Alaïa look for her Paris concert, featuring a hand sculpted leather bustier commissioned by @maisonalaia and hand made by the BRILLIANT Robert Mercier @gienah.robert and probably one of the most talented craftsman and designer I’ve ever seen.

My version features several double layered leather panels that have been hand sewn to mimic the shape of the original piece.

After nearly a decade singing her biggest English hits in Vegas, Céline personally selected her setlist which was predominantly French songs as a love letter to the fans who’ve been with her since day one.

Can you enjoy the show if you don’t speak French? Of course! But she sings mostly in French, the audience is predominantly French, starts and ends the show in French and speaks mostly in French.
