A very quick work trip to NYC doubled as the most legendary getaway with a dear friend and colleague. We celebrated a big work accomplishment together, but more importantly, cherished the memory of those we have loved and lost, and created new ones. “And now whatever way our stories end, I know you have re-written mine by being my friend.” Love you, Cathy!

Evelyn has been doing amazing! Her 18-month post-diagnosis neurology checkup gave us something really encouraging to look forward to: If she stays seizure-free for six more months, we can begin slowly weaning her off medication. 🙏🏻 For now: a higher dose, learning to swallow pills, and continuing genetic testing. 💖 She’s thriving as a busy third grader who loves school, sports, singing, dancing, and being her social butterfly self.
