A little painting session 🎨 Working on “Chairs Like Tired Men” 🌴

The setting may look tropical, but it’s far from paradise. The air feels heavy and humid, with chairs and bananas as the only traces of human presence.

I wanted to capture the heat and that tired feeling after a long day of work.

Im always capturing images with my iPhone when traveling g some of them inspire me for future paintings like landscapes but also people like one in the end with the ladies and pastel de Nata (could be a hopper painting right ?)✨

Music has always been a huge part of my creative process
One of the reasons I first wanted to paint was my fascination with album covers. Which to me are artworks in their own right

Today music is still what carries me through hours and hours of painting 🖼️ 😌
So while my next piece is cooking, I thought I’d share some of the songs that have been inspiring me throughout 2026 🎶

A little glimpse into what I’ve been listening to in the studio🎨

See you very soon :) by @mariegaunetart
