~2025~

This year will do down as one of the happiest years of my life. I can’t even put into words how grateful I am to be alive, and to live in such a beautiful, loud, full of adventure city. I’ve found some of my soulmates this year, people I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. I faced every challenge that came my way head on. I met frustration with patience, and danced my way through sorrow. I said yes to so many last minute activities, I traveled to Europe, floated through new NYC neighborhoods, and watched the sunrise illuminate the city skyline on a beautiful summer day. I’ll never be able to put into words how much I cherish my community. We truly are the luckiest ones. To another year of life, cheers by @mariemhowell

2024

My first full year of living in NYC has been full of love, laughter, dancing, and an endless supply of Captain and cokes. It’s also been a year of loss, loneliness, yearning, and a need for realignment when things seem dire. Many times throughout the year, I found myself looking to those I love for support and guidance, and through them I found more joy and happiness in every day living. 2024 brought me equally one of the hardest and most fun years of my life, no doubt. I will carry the lessons it taught me proudly into the New Year 💫 taken in New York, New York by @mariemhowell
