Have some catching up to do on our travels. Budapest by nught was lovely. We were then off to Vienna. It was Jeff and Lynette Kuykendall Whitaker first time In Vienna. Did a walking tour and they did Schonnbrunn and we did the Sisi Museum and Hofburg Palace. Returned to the Nachtmarket for nuts and baklava. Pick up some Gruner Vetliner and a recommend Austrian red for dinner. Had dinner at Figlmuller the birthplace of wiener schnittzel. Great meal. by @marijoclark

Got to the Viking port and board or vessel. The gang is all here. One more day in Budapest then off to Vienna. Went to the food hall. Lots of paprika and sauages. by @marijoclark

First day in Budapest. St. Stephan’s Basilica, baroque church, St. Matthais a Romanesque church. Then Buda castle and the Royal Room. Hungarianeals were great. A lot of paprika. Loved the architecture. The castle was like a village with walls. Very medieval. by @marijoclark

Second day did the Klemimium Libary where the hour of the day was
Set by an astronical clock as well as an ancient Jesuit library. Then to Prague castle which is the largest in the world for land mass. Felt like you were ina midevil
Village. Ended with the Strahov Monastery and library run by St. Augustine monks. Over 20,000 bibles in 17 languages. Then beer at the Monk’s brewery. Budweiser was developed in the then Czechoslovakia as Budwar where the Germans mispronounced it and changed it to Budweiser. Beer culture continues went to a mall. All American and UK brands. Cute cake kiosk. by @marijoclark

First night in Prague. Had dinner on the JazzBoat. Very tight trio. Played original and some jazz standards. Saw Prague by night. Penguins were public

Went on Loomis Holiday House tour today. Beautiful homes. On house was Disney focus to the point where the build a Pirates of the Caribbean ship into their pool. Treasure chest and drunken skeletons and all. by @marijoclark

Last week went to a Daniello’s speakeasy for Ed’s birthday in Roseville where you needed a secret password to open the door. The speakeasy was in the back of a sweet shop. Had a bottle of 10 year old Gypsy Canton wine. Unique wine bottle and wine maker story. Also finished a 12 yr bottle of Cakebread Dance Bear. Both were delicious! Great birthday meal with friends Jeff and Lynette. by @marijoclark
