Introducing @eterna.performance 🤍

Éterna is a Pilates and strength training company based in Montreal, built around the idea of movement for longevity.

Founder Jenna is a strong believer in not just getting on the mat or picking up the weights for today, but doing it for tomorrow, and for every version of yourself still to come.

The name Éterna is derived from “eternal,” so we knew the brand identity needed to carry that same sense of continuity and lasting strength.

The circular brand mark was designed as a visual expression of that idea. Four mirrored E’s come together to create a continuous form — a nod to balance, repetition and the ongoing nature of movement. Its circular composition speaks to longevity and the idea that movement is a lifelong practice.

A mark designed to embody Éterna’s philosophy: movement for today, tomorrow, and everything that comes after. taken in Montreal, Canada by @mariko_studio

chrisweberhair.com is live! 🖥️

@chrisweberhair’s work spans so much more than behind the chair, so we wanted his website to reflect that. We designed a one-page home for his personal brand, bringing together his hair services, press, hair extensions, brand partnerships, education, and all the different ways to work with him in one place.

The design builds on his new identity with a clean, editorial feel and plenty of space for his work to take centre stage.

The new chapter for @chrisweberhair is here!

Chris is a celebrity hairstylist, brand ambassador, content creator, and educator known for his signature lived-in hair and effortless approach to styling.

He came to us ready to build a personal brand that could bring every side of his work together under one roof — from his services and celebrity clientele to partnerships, press, and content.

We created a brand identity alongside a new website (more on that soon 😉) designed to showcase his work and all the ways to work with him.

Welcome to the new @chrisweberhair. 🖤

It’s here! The all new jackiekalch.com. 🤍

Such an honour to bring this to life alongside the incredibly talented @jackiekalch.

From the beginning, Jackie knew she didn’t want her website to feel inherently “wedding industry.” Instead, we drew inspiration from vintage typography and analog design to create a digital experience that feels distinctly hers.

No fluff. No unnecessary details. Just a digital home that lets her beautiful work speak for itself.

Not every brand needs to be loud.

For Jackie, we stripped everything back to what felt true to her work.

An identity that’s quiet, timeless, and human. One that gives her photography the space to speak for itself.

We paired a simple wordmark with a handwritten signature—a subtle nod to the way Jackie photographs: with intention, empathy, and an eye for the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Launching soon. @jackiekalch 🤍 taken in Calgary, Alberta by @mariko_studio

A digital home inspired by documentary storytelling, film photography, and the beauty of moments as they naturally unfold. From layered layouts to subtle interactive moments, every detail of @jackiekalch’s new website is being designed with restraint while still leaving room for emotion and discovery.

It’s been such a fun project to creatively explore and push beyond conventional website experiences. A reminder that digital spaces can hold just as much feeling as the stories they’re meant to tell.

More to come! 🎞️🤍 taken in Calgary, Alberta by @mariko_studio

It’s been a while since I’ve shown up around here, so I thought it might be time for a proper introduction (or reintroduction).

I’m Lindsay, the founder and designer behind Mariko Studio, a branding and website design studio based in Vancouver, Canada.

One thing that surprises people is that my process rarely starts with design.

Before I’m thinking about logos, colours, or typography, I’m usually asking a lot of questions. About your audience, your goals, your vision for the business, where you fit in the market, and where you want to be a few years from now.

I think that probably stems from my background in Psychology and Fashion Communication. I’ve always been interested in people and perception. Why we’re drawn to certain brands, what makes us trust them, and why some businesses feel instantly memorable while others don’t.

As much as I love beautiful design, I don’t believe a brand succeeds because it looks good. The strongest brands are built with intention. The visuals are simply an expression of that foundation.

One of the nicest compliments I receive from clients is that every project feels completely different from the last. That’s very intentional. I never want a brand to feel like it came from a template or a formula. It should feel like an extension of the business behind it.

Mariko Studio is intentionally small, which means I’m very hands-on throughout the process. Every project is collaborative, strategic, and built from the ground up.

No chasing trends. No one-size-fits-all solutions.

Just thoughtful brands designed to support where your business is headed next.

Thank you for being here. 🤎 taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @mariko_studio
