Five years in the baseball world is a little crazy to think about.

This summer left me speechless. The connections I’ve made, the players, parents, family members, friends, and everyone who supported the Disco Turkeys made this season one I’ll never forget. The amount of love and support this team received was incredible.

A huge shoutout to my staff and interns for making this season possible. Through rain, rainbows, and some brutal heat, we made it happen.

And a special shoutout to Raylen for stepping into the AGM role this year and absolutely crushing it. From trips to Mocksville and Marion, VA, to countless hours editing, brainstorming, and texting back and forth about graphics, you handled it all like a champ. I couldn’t have asked for a better AGM. Thanks for so much humoring my love for Big Booty Mix🤍

Summer highlights:
• Got hit with a bat for the first time (thanks Chris)
• Got hit by a ball thrown by an umpire (another first)
• Watched four fireworks shows (three of them on back-to-back nights with Raylen)
• Drew ending up with a whole box of hotdogs?
• Dollar store cowboy hats
• Had the best team and support system any GM could ask for.

Here’s to year five, and whatever comes next💙

Had to interrupt my regularly scheduled content to share a few special moments❤️🤍💙

There was something so chaotic—and so special—about celebrating Independence Day three nights in a row with fireworks at three different ballparks (and annoying @raylen_holder with Big Booty Mix😋).

Sitting on the field with the team that started my career in sports, watching the sky light up… that’s a feeling that’s really hard to beat.

Now enjoy some subpar fireworks photos and even more fireworks videos that absolutely nobody asked for. by @marilyn.pb

Spent a few evenings this week behind the lens capturing Wheatmore’s lone senior, a familiar Trinity senior, and a few Wheatmore underclassmen. ⚾️📸

Always a good time at the field — already looking forward to getting back out for more games next season.

AGM signing out❤️⚾️

Huge thanks to the Suires, coaches, players, sponsors, interns, and host families for all the memories, laughs, and lessons over the past 2 years. There have been so many good times, long nights, and self-growth in such a short time.

I’m have officially stepped away from the HiToms as the AGM, entering micro-retirement (from sports), HOWEVER, I’ll be doing some freelance work in the spring and summer, so don’t be a stranger — reach out anytime! (:

For now, ya girl needs a break and a much needed vacation.

“Love yall, mean it!”
