Our talented Year 13 dancers explored the exciting challenge of creating movement for camera under the guidance of dance teacher and choreographer Marina Climent Casas.

Choreographed to ‘Malparit’ a track from Catalan artist Mama Dousha’s latest album Tothom té raó, the project gave students the opportunity to discover how choreography can be adapted for the screen.

Inspired by the song’s lyrics, Marina created movement that encouraged our students to engage with dance in a new and exciting way, while exploring the relationship between movement, music and film.

Projects like this reflect the exceptional teaching, creativity and industry-focused learning opportunities that ArtsEd students get to experience.

We would like to congratulate all of the Year 13 dancers who took part and extend a huge thank you to Marina and Mama Dousha for making this opportunity possible. 👏✨

‘Sense and Sensibility’ 🎭

A little photo dump of the last two very intense couple of weeks, but what a lovely bunch to share it with 🫶🏼

Thanks to @britymt for the opportunity to work with such amazing cast and creatives and to @thomasfarnold and @grace_o_keefe for sharing with all of us this beautiful show and material🥹❤️

Back to London and reflecting on the hard work we have all done and wow, it was something!

Super special thank you to @mumbadodwell for embracing the craziness and delirious moments with me in every hour of rehearsal, laughter has been present everyday in the room and has kept us sane! It has been an immense pleasure! Leaving the project feeling fulfilled and happy with the work done 🙌🏼

And ended the project with a new very dysfunctional family that made this experience even better:) 💕
