Happy birthday to the man who has given me a life filled with more love, opportunities, and memories than I could have ever imagined.

I’m so grateful to have a man by my side who opens doors for me- not just literally, but figuratively too.

Together, we built a beautiful family with 6 incredible children and with five, soon to be six, healthy, adorable grandchildren. A big family has given me the ability to be surrounded by love from every direction.

You’ve also given me the opportunity to grow alongside you in business. From building SouthernTier together since 2016 to taking everything I’ve learned and using it to build something of my own, so much of who I am today has been shaped by the life we’ve built together.

But most importantly, you’ve taught me what true love really means.

It’s not just the easy days or the beautiful moments. It’s growing together, choosing each other through the hard seasons, and learning to fall in love with each other again and again as we both change and grow.

We’ve built businesses, raised a family, faced hard times, celebrated incredible ones, and grown into different versions of ourselves. And through it all, there is still no one I would rather have beside me.

Thank you for believing in me, challenging me, loving me, and giving me a life I’m so incredibly grateful for.

Crewsii rebuild, company acquisition, integration AND corporate office remodel have been A LOT to deal with.. but things are finally starting to slow down.. which means get back into the gym and focusing on what matters most- My health and wellness.

I won the state of OH one of my last years as a gymnast. Bars were my winning score. I’m almost 37. Last time I touched a bar (besides giants with @shannon.malia at her gym) was probably around 20 years ago. I still love it. Obviously out of shape, sweaty and old.. but not mad about three tries! taken in Cape Coral, Florida by @marinabmiller

We were on our way home from OH after Thanksgiving and I had a conversation with my Babushka “Yoya” (what Mila calls her bc she couldn’t pronounce “Zoya” when she was little) that I will never forget.

Two days later it was her Birthday, on December 1st. She turned 87. The next day I was on the phone with my mom and heard the EMS pronounce her dead at 1:04pm.

A week later we were back on a plane for her funeral. It was beautiful by the way. I was the first to speak and I realized a lot that day.

I am extremely grateful for our relationship. She was there when I was little and my parents were working hard rebuilding their lives after moving to America. She had an exceptional way of making me feel like she loved me and my cousin more than anyone on this planet. She was truly curious about my life and my happiness.

I realized, during that speech, that she was never truly gone. She lives within all of us. My mom and aunt, my cousin, her son in laws and myself. All the little things she passed down to me both genetically and mentally will remain in my heart.

Although funerals are not “fun”, I did get to see my family from Massachusetts which I do not see often. That too, I find gratitude in.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours ♥️🦃🍁🍽

Gratitude is something I’ve never had to work at - it runs through me like blood through my veins. I used to say I’m “just a happy and positive person,” but I’m realizing it’s because gratitude comes so naturally to me.

Maybe it’s because I’m an immigrant who’s seen what it means to come from nothing. I watched my parents work tirelessly to build the American Dream. I know how lucky we are to live in a country where we get to choose our own lifestyle - none right or wrong, just ours.
