The sun eventually came out & so we went to play & celebrate the @caramellondon x @zarakids collab 🤎
As my friend Chi said, it was like a mini festival.

The collection is designed with such nice fabrics, to be worn with adventure & some mischief in mind. Loved it all!

Thankful to have worked alongside this amazing team for the @byfar_official SS26 campaign 🌹♥️

Childhood nostalgia is something I hold very close to my heart.
When I think about mine it is filled with unparalleled freedom, sweltering heat, adventure, bare feet, naive discovery, simple joys & the delicious lull of time; slow motion technicolour.

Spending three months in the Bulgarian countryside with my grandmother & grandfather during the school holidays have shaped who I am deep down (yes, Bulgarian summer holidays were/are basically three months long, which for a kid, is heeeeeaven).

I’d pick fruits & veg from the garden & eat them right away. We’d milk our goats. I’d watch my grandmother cook & did she cook well! I’d fall over constantly bc no one was there to limit any of my moves; deep gravelly holes in my knees. Riding bikes into the town centre with my cousins, obviously with no helmets. Climbing our cherry tree with no one watching. Eating cherries. Sitting in the sun with no sunscreen bc no one had heard of sunscreen. I was never truly bored, there was always something to do with all the other kids - also there, away from city life, at their grandparents for the whole summer.

This campaign is very much about finding those memories & holding them close. ‘Growing Young’ is about remembering we were all children once & how special it is to have lived those early years being wild & free.

As we grow we collect pieces of joy, grief, heartache, success, love etc. Growth can be invisible & that’s when it’s most profound - silently working on parts of us while we fail to recognise it. So even when we feel like there is no growth, I really do think that it’s very much there in ways we may not be aware of ✨

In a sentimental mood 🌼

A big kiss to @casa_nana_mallorca bc it is an actual dream of a house. Such a great location, with a tram stop right down the road, where you can catch the 100yr old tram. No TV, which was the best thing ever, just toys & lods of games.

Anna had left two canvases to paint on in the art trolly, which the boys did on our last day there.

I loved how Kristo painted his with no sense of rules, while Leo drew a frame around the outside of his.
Made me think how we think of life as more constrained as we get older; we have walls & rules & structures & our thinking becomes considered, rather than free flight & impulsive.

Thank you for letting the boys play with all the sweet toys, the kind treats & for all the amazing recommendations too.
