Had an incredible night celebrating our friends at the Brotherhood premiere. 🌹

Seeing Latino stories centered in authenticity, while exploring the complexities of empathy and the many forms love can take, was a testament to the heart and soul of this team.

Congratulations to @martinezmau , @paulinacreyes , and the entire cast and team behind @brotherhoodmusical . Wishing you all a beautiful and successful opening. 🫶🏽🌹🇲🇽

Brasil. Familia. Te amo. 🇧🇷

You heal me like nothing else. Magic by the spoonful, delight sipped straight out of a coconut. smiles luminous, cracking jokes at the ripe old age of 100 years young. lucky to have this love story coursing through me. Lucky that it lights a fire in my belly that burns to tell it through poems and songs. Bravely and alone through this world I wander because I know home is the sound of our laughter filling the air.

Universe - thank you for sending me everything real in a world full of make believe. Love is real and it’s everywhere. 🌻 Now please send me a fixer-upper church in the Hudson valley that I can turn into a venue/writers retreat. 🙏🏼 amen. 🙃 by @marinampires

Bruh… y’all stay tryina get me to move to New York.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s stuff I love about the City. Everything’s accessible, there’s always something to do, the culture is unmatched. But the struggle bus is also out there doing donuts in a crammed parking lot. Y’all be describing your apartment like it’s a hostage situation. Why is a coffee $15 and a cocktail $30???DURING HAPPY HOUR! And you saying this is the cheaper bar?!?

Some people need that chaos to feel alive. But I finally figured out the scam. Y’all aren’t recruiting me because you love it out there. You’re recruiting me because misery loves company and you need a witness. Not you tryna get me to be your cellmate. I get it though.

And don’t catch me admitting how much I miss hanging with you cuz here come three of y’all ready to help me sign a lease on a closet with a loft bed and an oven I keep my sweaters in. Three jobs to make rent so I can audition for an off off off Broadway show four people will attend. Living the dream, baby.

Nah. I’m hyperactive all on my own, fam. I don’t need the city to keep my nervous system in fight or flight. I do that for free. 😂

Would you move to New York or are you already there? taken in West Palm Beach, Florida by @marinampires
