Yesterday was my birthday, and it also marked 3 months since I broke my ankle working. It’s been some tough weeks of rehab and lots of gym time, working to recover with as few aftereffects as possible. Things are going great and the outlook is positive—but I still need to tread carefully!

---
Once the unplanned basics were covered (like stocking up on water) and it became clear that power and data weren’t coming back anytime soon, there was only one thing left to do: head out for a walk in the park, sit back, listen to the radio, and keep the stress at bay. Simple as that!

Adaptación de una idea que vi a @tuesday_night_violence_co : una pizarra vileda portátil! Hoja de cuaderno plastificada y rotuladores indelebles... Puedes tomar notas y dibujos rápidos con tiempo húmedo.

Adaptation of an idea I saw on @tuesday_night_violence_co : a portable whiteboard! Notebook sheet laminated and permanent pens allow to take notes and quick sketchs on humid weather. by @marine_forestal

---
Today was time to clean and prepare the moth traps for the upcoming season and the Victorinox german army knife I get from Varusteleka was really handy for that task...

Feliz 2025!

If you see me another year horsing around the woods, dressed like a tactical hobo, and taking hours to finish a trail because I stop to look at every little thing—just let me be. That’s exactly where I want to be...Happy 2025! by @marine_forestal

---
Two years ago, when I started working in Ibiza every fall, I bought this sailor's knife from @arcos—cheap, lightweight, and functional—to avoid losing any more valuable pieces in airport security checks. It cuts through air itself, and now, every time I pass by the shop in San Joan de Labritja where I bought it, I get to think, "I bought a knife here!"

So, today I complete the Remote Military March anual challenge from @varusteleka ! Not a walk through the park (wink, wink), since the last 2 hours of the 25 kms were pretty hard... But, hey, it's done!
---
