My final research project on mental imagery - I am very honored and proud of it. It was extremely tough and a lot of work, but it was incredibly fascinating! I enjoyed it!!! I've learned so much. Mental imagery is a phenomenon that is highly credible and can create significant beneficial outcomes for athletes and active adult populations. However, there is more research that can go beyond people who engage in active lifestyles. For example, combining mental imagery exercises with regular physical exercise can help older adults who are in the early stages of dementia. It can improve their cognitive functioning, emotional well-being, and motor ability. Who knows.. maybe I will do more research in the future for a doctoral program.And for my acknowledgment: There are so many people that I want to express my immense gratitude to; it’s difficult to name everyone, but I would like to acknowledge and thank my son, ALL my grandparents, parents, my third Dad-Steve and his family, ALL my siblings, family, friends, my Fortnite friends, the world Final Fantasy VII and the universe of Dragon Ball, Kobe Bryant, Bruce Lee, a variety of mentors, my professors (past and present), my classmates, all my co-workers (past and present), my professional stakeholders, and everyone in the basketball and fitness community. Also, my beautiful animals, my dog Pecca, my cats - Gypsy, Chippie, Marilyn, Ash, Frisky, and the late great - Mr. Manners & Cali, and my dog Smokey. Throughout my life, everyone has in some way been incredibly supportive, encouraging, loving, and have shown that they believed in me and were never negative towards me, never. Reflecting on my graduate and life journey, I could not have done it without them, this is for you all, so thank you. They have truly inspired me and pushed me to be the best human being I can be. Lastly, this particular project is dedicated to my Grandma, Frances Perez. Not one time did she ever doubt me; she always wanted me to be happy and enjoy life. I will never forget her.
