I cooked for an episode of Shark Tank, here’s how it went.

I have a hard time trusting brands, everything feels like its designed to break or make you addicted. But I think these sprouting kits are one of the most morally sound products and they will truly help people live longer, healthier lives.

I met Doug Evans, the CEO of The Sprouting Company, before his Sprouting kits were on the market. At the time, I had no idea how easy it is to grow food. So I tried sprouting and in literally 5 days I grew broccoli sprouts and it was a life changing moment for me. It’s easier to grow than brewing coffee.

I instantly asked Doug if I could help with his business and now for 2 years I’ve worked with Doug writing sprout recipes, website photography, filming content, making a cookbook and eventually cooking for this Shark Tank episode. I use my freeze dryer for making interesting recipes and fruit freeze dried candy, but also because I’m building up a Food Storage and I always wanna have good food available. This freeze dried baby food should last up to 25 years.

Is this genius or a fail? Freeze dried sushi 🫨

Freeze dryers remove water from foods helping preserve them and transform their textures. It’s great for food storage, homesteading and meal prep.

I’ve freeze dried over 50 things so far, and it’s still hard to predict the results.

I also dip the sushi in liquid nitrogen.
