my PopPop. the greatest grandpa a girl could have asked for. i wish for even one more minute with you so I could give you a huge hug and hear your laugh again. you are the strongest man i know, in every way. i already miss your smile, kindness, generosity, selflessness, and incredible pancakes. you will always be the embodiment of a true man, father, and grandfather and I miss you so much already. lessons from 2024: thank Jesus; a lot can change in a year; fear can cause us to delay Gods greatest blessings; there is so much freedom in forgiveness; we are so lucky to live this life.

this year has been the worst and best so far of my life. things will always be thrown at you, good and bad. you will be hurt and let down, but also be lifted up and filled with joy. this year i have gotten closer to Jesus than i have ever been and have had experiences that will shape me for the rest of my life. maybe 2024 was full of sorrow for you, maybe it was full of incredible happiness. regardless, if you are in a place where you feel lost and confused in whatever way, find Jesus. other than yourself, he is the only one who will be by your side forever. when your world falls to pieces, he will be there gracefully. when you cry out to him, he will make a way for you. not a single soul is too far gone for him. it may not seem like it at the moment, but he is ALWAYS working. “for we walk by faith, not by sight.” - 2 Corinthians 5:7.
Remember that any tears you cried this year might just be watering the seeds you will plant next year. one day you will wake up and the weight of the past day, months, or even years will be off your shoulders and you’ll remember why life if worth living. perhaps 2025 is the year you stop striving for perfection and start trusting that Gods plans for you are far greater than you could ever imagine.
praying that everyone has a blessed 2025 full of joy and love. love you all. god bless🤍✨
