That little bit o'gold bling hanging from the bottle? That's a GOLD award from the Los Angeles Intl. Spirits Competition. We love getting awards because we're super proud of my Dad's recipe. But nothing makes us happier, and I mean nothing, than seeing people share Mario's with friends and family. We call it Sharing the Love, and it's literally why my Dad made a batch every year. Not a boxer, and not a bodybuilder. When people see the photo of my dad on our label, they always ask if he’s one or the other, but no, he was a farmer. We call that killer physique “farm ripped“. My dad used to tell me: “You lift crates of onions all day you’ll look like that too!“ Boy, was he right. And here’s the proof. I recently found this photo of him in action and I cannot believe I did. I didn’t know it existed, but there it is. Mario worked hard, loved hard, and lived a life, overflowing with family and friends. On this Labor Day weekend we honor all those incredible men and women who worked their butts off to grow families, build communities, and provide opportunities, and to all of you who are doing the same thing each and every day.
