POSTS STORIES REELS

Our precious princess Kalina Li was born one week ago today, July 28th, 2025 at 2:15 pm. We are still on ☁️ 9 and adjusting to our new lives as parents!

We are blown away by the outpouring of love from our family, dear friends, neighbors and loved ones, and we know that Kali girl is going to have the best support system and so much love in her life. 💞

Motherhood is by far the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life already. Nothing prepares you for the highs and lows, the sleepless nights and days, the unexpected and unpredictable nature of new life, and the extreme emotions associated with all of it. I’m in awe of the human body’s ability to adapt and instinctively know how to care for a little being. It is such a beautiful feeling, and I have newfound appreciation for all mamas out there… My hubby is also already our hero, doing so much for us in every capacity while giving us both total princess treatment. We are lucky gals. 👑

Blessed beyond measure. Thank you, Kali, for making us parents! 🩷🎀 by @marisamladenovic

Yo ho ho, a pirate’s life for we three! 🏴‍☠️❤️ #arghhh by @marisamladenovic

Not modeling this year, but still trying to be cute. 🥹

When I see this photo I look at my baby hairs, still trying to grow back 1+ year postpartum. I think about how much fun I had seeing all of my fashion friends, but how much I missed my baby every second and felt bad she stayed up for me (let’s be real, for the milky😅) before night night. Life is so different now but I’m just so grateful to have my cup so full… 😌❤️

Congratulations to my beautiful friend @arabel22 and the entire @runwaylatinx @pivotinginheels team for another incredible event weekend. You all are putting Chi town on the map in a BIG way. ❤️‍🔥

Musings from a sales chick on a Tuesday…

I’ve been getting tons of tiktok comments on a couple recent fixer upper homes I’ve posted. People are saying they are not worth a million bucks (for example) because they are outdated and need upgrades. While these opinions may not be wrong, one of the first principles we learn in real estate is that a property is WORTH as much as somebody is willing to pay. And that number can be small, it can be the list price, or it can be exorbitant.

It also seems that folks don’t always take additional factors into account — location, INFLATION, school districts, curb and neighborhood appeal, and many other things that make a place “valuable”.

People also don’t take the issue of inventory into account, i.e. supply and demand. We are far too familiar in this industry with the notorious bidding war, but they don’t only occur with an extraordinary property. They also happen because of a place being available at the right time and right place, and in a market with low supply.

And let’s not forget the EMOTIONAL aspect of all of this. When a person falls in love with a home, a neighborhood, school district for their child, local coffee shop down the street from the house, dog park for their pup, ETC., they are willing to pay a large sum for that emotional attachment aspect.

If you’ve read all this, thanks for following along. I’d love to chat more about your home’s value if you’re looking to sell or even entertaining the idea one day. I’m always happy to do a CMA (comparative market analysis) for my people to see what the estimated value of your home may be (and no, it’s not the “Zestimate”).

As an aside—I’ve been getting more into the world of luxury watches because I find it fascinating that someone can purchase something at one price and the value is instantly higher upon purchase. Plus they are pretty.🤭🕰️ by @marisamladenovic

In my next life, I want to be baby Kali 🥹💖

Our family had the opportunity to stay at the gorgeous @stregisbeg AKA the “Glass House” while in Serbia, and the stay was just as iconic as the tower.

Situated in the newest section of Belgrade right on the river (Beograd na vodi), it is next to tons of new apartment/condo buildings and the stunning @galerija_belgrade mall which draws comparison to Dubai Mall.

I learned from our family that this area of Belgrade is actually controversial, as it has all gone up in the last 5-10 years and is strikingly different from the “old city”. What do you think? Would you stay here?
