Portland’s @thecrookedlooks are taking on T. Rex as The Sliders this Halloween! Three-piece powerhouse trading their usual heavy psych and grunge for a little Marc Bolan glam.

Saturday, October 31 at The Six Below Midnight. Part of our HUNGER CITY Halloween celebration!

For Halloween, @theupkeepsofficial become FUNHOUSE ’69, tearing into the music of Iggy Pop & The Stooges!

Drawing from early rock ’n’ roll, punk, and power-pop, The UpKeeps bring their own flavor to the table. A middle finger to the bland, a salute to the misfits, and a friendly reminder to KEEP UP.

Catch them at HUNGER CITY: HALLOWEEN alongside a full night of rock ’n’ roll tributes.

“Stereo Love Letter” is finally here! Happy album release to The UpKeeps and cheers to the two terrific album release shows. I’m so proud of all the hard work they put into making such a spectacular album and release celebration. A massive thanks to Music Millennium for hosting them for a special acoustic set and album signing, as well as to RIP City Rundown for a fun-filled evening. So much love here, what a way to enter this new era❤️📻🌹💌 by @marisaxlive

To say I’m excited would be an understatement! Make sure you pre-order the vinyl and get your tickets to the release show (link in bio) while there’s still some left. As a reminder, this show is ALL AGES. See you there! by @marisaxlive

Calling all Portland music industry people!

Last year, I launched Marisa x LIVE as a space for me to share my work in the live music industry. It quickly evolved into my own little business as I dove into management and booking roles. Going into this year, my goal is to get more connected with the PDX music industry network. If you are a booker, band manager, social media manager, photographer, designer, publicist, etc., or just an aspiring music industry professional…let’s get connected! Drop a comment and introduce yourself! by @marisaxlive
