Let me deinfluence you for a second.
Growth is not graceful.
It feels like stripping everything you thought you knew and starting over. New skills. New environment. New business ideas, and then a newer one the second you think you’ve figured it out. It never stops moving, and you don’t get to arrive.
I’m not going to pretend I’ve got it all figured out. Most days I’m learning in public, getting it wrong in private, and rebuilding in between. The polished version you see on here is real, but it’s maybe 10% of the story.
So if you’re in the ugly middle right now, starting over, unlearning, or doubting whether it’s working, you’re not behind. This is what it looks like.

Nashville, thank you.

This pop-up marked a meaningful milestone for Marissa Isabella—our very first introduction to the city, made possible alongside the incredibly talented stylist Michael Mott. I’m deeply grateful to Michael for the opportunity, his vision, and his trust in bringing this moment to life.

A heartfelt thank you to Maggie for opening her home and so generously hosting us. The warmth, care, and intention behind the space made the experience feel intimate and truly unforgettable.

What began as a shared idea became a day filled with connection, creativity, and genuine support. Seeing the collection resonate in a new city was both grounding and affirming, and a reminder of why I started Marissa Isabella: to create pieces that feel intentional, personal, and enduring.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried on, shared kind words, and supported this first chapter in Nashville. This was only the beginning.

Proverbs 27:17 – Iron sharpens iron, just as people shape one another.

I remember praying for a sisterhood so strong like this one a few years back. The Lord was EXTREMELY intentional in the way he brought us all together. May we continue to pour into one another in the way the Lord has called us to do. Yesterday was a great reminder of HIS unconditional and everlasting love.
