Marissa Dunn is a Nashville based (and Detroit-raised) founder, community builder, and golf industry professional - and she’s not just attending the Forbes Under 30 Summit this April. she’s building something there.

Marissa is the founder of Elevate HER: Golf - a growing community and event platform redefining how women connect through golf, business, and lifestyle. She saw a gap in the sport and instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, she built the door herself.

With a background in hospitality, event management, and golf industry sales, she turns golf into one of the most powerful networking tools for women in business. and the rooms she creates speak for themselves.

Hi!! I’m Marissa🤩
Founder of Elevate Her, golf obsessed, always planning my next trip & probably talking to someone I just met😂

We have SO many new faces around here lately & I’m so excited you’re here🥹💜
I figured it was time to reintroduce myself!!

Can’t wait to get to know all of you & continue to see this community grow⛳️🫶

I started golfing in college after getting a summer job at a golf course! I’ve always loved being outside, staying active & anything competitive, so golf ended up being a pretty perfect combo⛳️

Handicap: 26
Best part of my game: Driver (usually😂)
Worst: chipping BY FAR
First competitive tournament: this year!!
I’m definitely still learning this game & will be continuing to do so for years to come😆

Riding>> walking, pretty much ALWAYS‼️
I love a quick 9 holes + a post round drink🍸
(but really I’ll take any round with good people✨)
The social side of golf is a huge part of why I fell in love with the game in the first place🤍

Favorite course I’ve played: Chambers Bay😍
Dream course: St. Andrews (duhhhh)
And at this point I will use pretty much any excuse to plan a trip around golf😂✈️

Before golf took over…
I was a D1 hammer thrower at Central Michigan🔨🔥
I studied abroad in Italy for the summer🇮🇹🍝
I own my own photography company📸
& I use to be a fitness instructor, teaching barre🧘‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
I’ve always loved being active, outside & doing anything creative💓

When I started golfing, I barely ever played with other women. I started Elevate in 2025 because I wanted to change that & bring more women together through the game. Now some of my favorite people have come into my life because of golf✨🤍🥹 by @marissadunn7
