Formal explorations for the new sound sculptures, no AI <3 by @marius_perraud

The MONKSHOOD SOUND SCULPTURES are finally complete and able to sing in the studio! 🗣️

Photos by my beloved @hugopalayer

The starting point for the design of the Monkshood Sound Sculptures came from a simple question: what would a flower sound like, and what would it have to say to us?
By exploring the relationship between the formal constraints of hi‑fi speaker design and the shapes of many sound‑amplifying devices inspired by flowers, such as the gramophone, one flower in particular caught my attention: the aconite, from the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae).
Also known as Monkshood, this mountain plant from the Northern Hemisphere is one of the most toxic species in Europe. The shape of its “hood” creates an internal void essential to acoustic resonance, while its four lower petals suggest an unconventional and uniquely organic propagation of sound waves.

I’m very happy with the sound quality achieved thanks to these full‑range drivers, so I’ve decided to offer these pieces as made‑to‑order.

Send me a DM for all the specs and details. 💌 by @marius_perraud

CUPPING THERAPY

An ode to relaxation and #chill 💆🏻

In many cultures, the orchid is associated with a sense of purity and spirituality.
Their graceful silhouettes invite introspection and comfort, guiding us toward a certain form of wisdom.
A precious reverence for this family of flowers, which deserves the utmost care.

Suction cups, first invented long ago by the Egyptians, are often used to improve blood circulation, release tension, tone the body, and help our energy flow more freely.
