✨️I wrote this short story during lockdown. It wasnt until last year where I decided I wanted to draw it out to get into the habit of making more comics. by @mark.geee

An animated trailer for Go Go Proton!

I wanted to pay tribute to some tokusatsu classics.
Agustin and I have so much we want to explore with this world and its become a passion project of ours.

A whole animated project would be a dream!
But exploring this world in comics has already been so fulfilling ✨️

Inspo board :
1- Ultra Man intro, based off the original Ultra Q series
2-Ultra seven
3- lupin the 3rd, the classic spotlight run
4- kamen rider black, big inspo for conception of proton.

Music 🎶 - original Ultra Q title sequence.

Inspirations for this came from me being sick for the past week lol. Been watching some ultra seven and reading some Manga. But got swept up with some inspiration.

Jammed on this animation for 3 days and not really story boarding anything. Just going off instinct and animating straight ahead.

Some fav moments

Going for very graphic with a sprinkle of cowboy bepop.

I wanted something very loose, was reading / watching alot of Ping Pong by Taiyo Matsumoto and directed by the goat Maasaki Yuasa.

Animating the classic henshin poses for Proton was so sick lol not gonna lie I popped off on that part 😎

Anywho, appreciate ya reading thru these slides.
Im also feeling much better from my cold

My tribute piece for @gallerynucleus upcoming artshow

The Art Of Gravity Falls : 10 years Post-Weirdmageddon!

Been a fan of this show when I was in art school.
Wanted to do a tribute to old movie posters from Godzilla / Hong Kong Cinema.

It only felt right to do a screen print to showcase this piece.

Big thanks to @joshua.oceguera @home.roomstudio for providing the space and teaching me thru the process 🙏🏽
