Let me know your thoughts below! I’m advocating that we add checks and balances to our social media team when it comes to posting worship reels.

Our local community has dozens if nots hundreds of options to get a first impression on and as unfortunate as it is, first impressions (first 2-7 seconds) do matter.

Waking up and over 50% of the 12 worship reels I watched to had pitchy vocals or bad audio mixes makes me want to swipe. 🤷🏼‍♂️ great video, bad audio. :( by @mark_carlberg

What a little bit of sound check and rehearsal looks like; hoping to get more footage of when I’m too busy to record.

Thank you to @bigdaddydecibel for having me. It was fun playing in the sandbox. Glad you are doing better!

Quick point and hot topic: I believe that everyone should be metering from analog gain (pre-digital trim). by @mark_carlberg

My FOH vocal chain (in the box!!) I love that on Rivage and SSL, I don’t feel the need to have external processing. 😉 by @mark_carlberg

Why does @mark_carlberg choose Radial for every gig? Because whatever he’s working on, every detail matters. Check out Mark’s take on why Radial’s ProD2 is his first recommendation for any house of worship and how our classic Jensen Transformer-equipped JDI ups the ante sonically for live recording and broadcast!

Mixing on a L-ISA immersive this last Sunday and next Sunday to fill in for a friend. Hoping to maybe shoot some content on this. We’re also running Klang immersive mixing for band and vocalists.

Everything has been thrown out the window, it’s really about being creative and trusting your ears. by @mark_carlberg

Gear failed today, but we still had a successful service!

I had a lot of messages about this and thought I would share some quick thoughts!

I’m filling in for a friend of mine @bigdaddydecibel and I’m pretty sure I’m the reason the gear had to fail today hahahah by @mark_carlberg

Do you check all your microphone stands before you set them out on stage? One of the things that was a high focal point for me after a couple of failures while I was on tour a while back was ensuring that the mic stands were 100% before the artist and band arrived.

This simple and super small detail can be of great distraction to the team on stage but even potentially the audience.

Whether you are in a church situation, live event, or tour - I think the importance of this is about the same. by @mark_carlberg

Just celebrating the little things. Been a crazy week. Thankful for the people in my life and Gods blessings. Grateful to be in a country where I have the freedom to agree and disagree and a country that will throw down whenever.. lol by @mark_carlberg

Don’t mind my video of just me popping through mixes as fast as possible, lol. Grateful for the call to fill in for my boi Torres with the @maverickcitymusic fam. This was such a fun one off. The festival came with bunch of challenges and maybe I’ll do a breakdown at some point. Got to make a lot of new friends 🫶🏼
