It feels like we rarely see moments slow down anymore. Fast transitions, aggressive camera movement, and hyperlayered audio are all engineered to grab your attention before you swipe away.

While in Iceland, I wanted to choose a different pace. A locked in frame, no cuts, and raw audio. Just a single, immersive moment at Glacier Lagoon as the high tide pushes icebergs back into the lagoon. Turn the sound up and experience the drift of the ice and the surrounding wildlife.

Boys Trip to Colorado w/ @bin.wade & @johnnylang8

We spent 3 days climbing in the Black Canyon of Gunnison before the smoke rolled into the canyon. We pivoted last minute to this alpine crag on Mount Blue Sky and were blown away by the quality of routes.

I was able to capture a few shots of us climbing “Sinners on Sunday”, but of course got distracted by the splitter cracks, bullet rock, and exposure. taken in Colorado by @mark_charles

Two years! It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown – it still feels like just yesterday we were writing our vows. Looking back on these past two years fills me with every emotion: laughter, tears, and so much excitement for all that’s yet to come.

Most people know we’re together nearly every moment, and honestly, I sometimes feel a bit wistful about the time before I met you, wishing we’d had even more years to share. If you haven’t had a chance to look at @logan.grosz new Black Hills Bouldering guidebook, do it! I personally think it’s one of the best guidebooks out there and is very tastefully done.

This is a shot I took of @johnnylang8 on “Gaudy Side of Town” in the Bonanza Area that we used for the @bhclimbers ad in the book.

If you ever have the chance to climb with Mr. Johnny Lang, you’ll quickly notice his remarkable ability to put in a tremendous amount of effort in a single attempt, even after expressing exhaustion just moments before. It’s truly inspiring to watch.
