Today Is A Day I’ll Carry In My Heart Forever… After 21 long years, I saw Sebastian, the son of my best friend, Justin. The moment our eyes met, it felt like I was looking through time. The moment I saw him, it felt like time folded back on itself. He carries his father’s smile, his presence, his calm strength. He reminded me so deeply of Justin that it stirred something in my soul. On this very special day, Justin’s day, His Birthday… I felt his spirit standing quietly beside us. It was as if his father reached across time, Put a hand on my shoulder, and said, “Look at the man my boy has become…” Sebastian has grown into a fine young man, respectful, grounded, thoughtful. The kind of man Justin would be so incredibly proud of. His Mother Deb done such a great job and raising him into a fine young man. In him, I saw not just the resemblance of his father, But the heart of his father, the kindness, the gentle humor, the quiet strength and a wild streak that comes in his riding skills and talent. I wish his older brother Joshua could have been there, And his daughter Justice, and his loving wife, Deb, Because today wasn’t just a meeting, it was a moment of legacy, A moment where love passed from generation to generation. Standing there with Sebastian, I felt Justin. I felt the memories, the laughter, the brotherhood we shared. He may have left this world 22 years ago, But he never really left, Because his love lives on through his children, Through the people who loved him, And through moments like today. Today reminded me that some friendships never fade, Some bonds never break, And some people live forever, Not in years, but in hearts. I truly say this from the heart. @sebasco.hd by @mark_milakovich
