Brilliant tree? ‘Sylvian Saint Laurent’ acrylic and oil pastel on canvas is one of a new series of probably the smallest canvases I have painted yet… all based on original Polaroids I took between 1979 and 1993 (Sylvian at Nomis1982) The book/ magazine cover size and format really suits the subject and they look great on their own and amazing as multiples… The collection along with a very limited edition fine art print will drop on Friday 23rd and subscribers to my website will get an opportunity to reserve pieces in advance so subscribe and don’t miss out ! markwardel.com #artcollector #contemporaryart #davidsylvian #mediaart #saintlaurent taken in London, United Kingdom by @mark_wardel

Saturday studioshot another airbrush practice piece… airbrush and acrylic paint on Fabriano paper. I’m really getting into using an airbrush again and the contrast of the misty textures against hard edged areas. Subscribe markwardel.com taken in London, United Kingdom by @mark_wardel
