It was an honor to present “Con Ganas” at the 2026 ARTSinTANK Dance Festival in Korea 🌺🌎❤️

Coming from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, I never imagined I would one day have the opportunity to lead and fund an international tour let alone collaborate internationally with @bogyeolchum through my workshop, “Mapping Emotion Through Contemporary Movement.” To Bogyeul and the women of @bogyeolchum thank you for your open hearts, minds and embracing my dancers and I ❤️ As a 28 year old, this experience has been incredibly rewarding, and I’ve grown so much not only as an artist, but as a leader through making all of this possible

To the cast of Con Ganas, thank you for walking this journey with me. The stars truly aligned, and I wholeheartedly believe I brought the dream team. Thank you for trusting me, believing in me and for pouring your hearts into this work. I love you all so much, you are FAMILY to me and inspire me endlessly 🤍

When we first received this opportunity through @dancecityfestival_ , I was deeply honored but unsure how we would make it happen. Because of 60 generous individuals, we raised over $5,000 to support this journey. We were also awarded the New Horizons grant from @thodosdancechicago , helping bring this vision to life. It is because of this community that this ambitious dream became reality. Thank you for believing in me, and in the incredible humans I had the privilege of sharing this experience with. We are filled with nothing but love and gratitude. ❤️

Thank you, @artsintank_korea for having us. This experience pushed me to fight for my art and grow in ways I never thought possible ❤️Little Mark would be so damn proud 🥹🤍 Stay tuned for what’s next… ❤️‍🔥 taken in Seoul, Korea by @markanthony_428

After two weekends of presenting work, I’m deeply honored and blessed to have been selected as a 2025 Dance City Festival Standout Choreographer International Exchange Recipient and invited to present “Con Ganas”🌺🌎 at @artsintank_korea in Korea! 🥳

Words can’t fully express the gratitude I feel. I’m so fortunate to work with these incredibly talented humans I get to call friends and tell these stories with — thank you for helping me bring “Con Ganas” to life again. I love you all, let’s do this!!! ❤️. Thank you @caitmaryclark for letting me collaborate and share “From the Ashes” 🐦‍🔥🔥 with you. It’s been such a fun journey… and it looks like it’s only the beginning. 😊

Thank you, @dancecityfestival_ , for giving my voice space to be heard and valued as an artist. I’m still speechless and incredibly thankful. Thank you for the opportunity and believing in my work 😊 Not too bad for a boy from the Rio Grande Valley — little Mark would be so proud 🥹❤️ taken in Detroit Institute of Arts by @markanthony_428

“To You, I Surrender” 🫂❤️

I was inspired by the idea of a “wave of emotions.” Emotions are physically felt and are expressed differently from human to human, but we all understand the concept of an emotion. Emotions can be clear, they can be messy, and they can be tragically beautiful. Personally, I’ve lately been learning to give into the moment which means truly surrendering to my honest self and allowing myself to feel every emotion instead of avoiding where I am at to be present. To be truly present, even in the difficult moments takes courage.

Thank you to these beautiful artists for having the courage to be truly present with me and be in the moment. This experience, has truly changed my perspective. I am honored and blessed to be human with you. Thank you, for allowing me to surrender ❤️🫂 taken in Seoul, South Korea by @markanthony_428

To You, I Surrender 🫂❤️

As a movement artist, I value dance as a universal language to connect with and understand other humans. As Humans, we have the power to practice compassion and empathy amongst ourselves. I was incredibly inspired by the honesty, authenticity and generosity of all of these artists. In 6 hours we created a full length piece and it was moving to witness how humans experience the same emotion but manifest it in the body in different ways. An incredibly rewarding experience and my heart is completely over the moon ❤️ It was lovely to collaborate with the Choi Bo Gyul Dance Company in Seoul to create a cross cultural dialogue. Thank you @artsintank_korea for trusting me to lead this process 😊❤️
