An awesome weekend hiking to the Dynamo Hut, up Skippers Canyon, with some of my oldest friends. 50+ river crossings to get there, 50+ on the way back.
Only fell over once, and dunked the Q2. Thanks to the camera gods for weather sealing 😂

Between working hard and hardly working, I didn’t get much of a chance to make personal work this year. With that said, it was a good year (at least in my tiny bubble) thanks to family, friends and loyal clients. Looking forward to getting out more in 2026 with no other intention than to make photos for me.
It’s not lost on me how difficult and tragic 2025 has been the world over, so also looking forward with hope to a better year for everyone, you included. taken in Auckland, New Zealand by @markbarber

A couple recent photos of @cityraillink Te Waihorotiu and Karanga-a-hape Stations. Nearing completion, test trains are now regularly passing through all stations, and fit outs are getting the final touches 👌🏼

City Rail Link Test Train #1 - Waitematā to Maungawhau.

12.02.2024, Auckland.

Cool to be able to document one of the bigger milestones of the Project to date. Also my first time using a Leica Q Series camera. I picked up a Q2 for a good price a few weeks ago. It’s the perfect incidental camera to complement the R5.
