A little game of hide and seek 🐿️🍂

Caught this curious little squirrel peeking around the tree, surrounded by the beautiful colours of autumn.

Sometimes, the smallest moments make the best photographs.

Sometimes, the best moments happen after work. 🦢🌅

Grabbed my camera for one last bit of light — and it was worth it.

Two beautiful encounters in the golden evening glow. ✨

A quiet moment in the wild. 🦌🍂

Some encounters make you forget everything around you — just you, the wildlife, and a moment worth capturing.

A quiet moment in the wild. 🌿🦌

Sometimes, the most beautiful encounters happen when you least expect them.

A moment in the mist. 🖤

From soaring through the sky to drying its wings in the morning fog — the great cormorant has a character of its own.

Two different moments, one beautiful bird. 🐦‍⬛
(but not when I am fishing myself)

30 days with the Sony A7R VI. 📸🦅

One month ago, I started a new chapter in my wildlife photography journey.

A new camera, new challenges, and countless moments in the wild. 🌿

Here are some of my favourite shots from my first month with the A7R VI.

And honestly… I’m only getting started. 👀

Which shot is your favourite? Let me know in the comments! 👇

A clash in the fields. 🦅🌿

Two buzzards, one territory. A glimpse into the wild side of nature.

Captured in the Dutch countryside.

A little glimpse into the world of a long-eared owl. 🦉🍂

Hidden among the autumn leaves, watching the world with those beautiful orange eyes. Sometimes, the most special wildlife encounters happen when you slow down and look a little closer.

I’ve been looking forward to this project for a while! I wanted to give this beautiful kingfisher a different look by letting other photographers bring their own vision to the image.

I was really curious to see how everyone would approach the same RAW file, from their editing style and colour choices to the overall mood they wanted to create. And seeing how differently everyone interpreted this kingfisher has been amazing! Every edit tells its own story. 🌿

Now I’m curious… which edit is your favourite? 👀

A huge thank you to all 9 photographers for taking part and sharing your creativity! ❤️ by @markcaptureswildlife
