MFT out now 🐈‍⬛🧶 Me and Mandy wrote this song after I read a news story about an AI suicide. The song is not about whether AI is bad. (It’s obviously bad, but that’s not the point of the song.) It’s a portrait of someone looking for a safe space to share her worst thoughts, and feeling that even therapy isn’t really safe, because the therapist might have to report those thoughts to the government. But the chatbot isn’t a person, so it’s not going to tell anyone anything. We related to that feeling of despair and fear, and ended up with this elegiac song about it.

Oh yeah and Mandy sings the 2nd verse lead on this one 🐈‍⬛🧶

Priced a few tix in every city at $7.11 for those who need em ❤️

Some bands don’t like to tour. We get that, it makes sense, touring’s hard and it’s SO expensive. But we are not one of those bands. We love being out there with the Cheek Freaks. It reminds us (and maybe you) that even though this country is harsh and callous and sick and bitter, creating a better community together is possible, even if it’s for just a night in a lil rock club with a weird band 🐐 🐐 🐐
