An incredible way to close my first season as Ballet Master with @gauthierdance at Jacob’s Pillow—a place I hadn’t visited in 12 years, yet never stopped hoping to return to. To stand here again and feel the lineage of this extraordinary place is deeply inspiring and endlessly invigorating. I’m so proud of these remarkable dancers, whose generosity, artistry, and joy have filled not only this past week, but the entire season. Thank you for everything you brought to our audiences, to me, and our entire staff.❤️ taken in Jacob's Pillow by @markfjsampson

Excited for our open rehearsal tonight at @orsolina28. My first production back with Gauthier Dance as rehearsal director has been incredibly inspiring thanks to @akramkhancompany, @mavin_khoo, @angela_towler and the dancers of @gauthierdance. Turning of Bones will premier June 26th in Stuttgart for colours festival, come see! ❤️

What a joy to work with such virtuosic and sensitive artists. Preparing for the premier of my new piece Blueaille next week at @tangentedanse with @edcmtl. Shows are from December 11th until the 14th. Would love to see many familiar faces there! ❤️ taken in Edifice Wilder - Espace danse by @markfjsampson

Hard to believe that these last two weeks weren’t a dream. I feel incredibly spoiled to have been in residence at the Banff Centre to start reworking my solo Sword Swallower for stage. It’s rare to feel so cared for as an artist and this program has exceeded my expectations. A major thank you to Alejandro Ronceria for bringing me here and matching me with my amazing dramaturg Nanako Nakajima. Time to push forward and bring this work to life. Stay tuned! ❤️ taken in Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity by @markfjsampson
