Growth isn’t linear. Sometimes it’s a bad brain day followed by a full sprint the next.Tomorrow-me is going to thank today-me for writing a few things down because there’s a direction to point toward.I’m learning that God’s grace isn’t just for the moments when I’m strong. It’s for the moments when I feel scattered, stuck, and behind.The goal isn’t perfection. It’s staying in alignment and continuing to build.What do you actually do when you can’t get anything done, so the next day turns around? Don’t give me the generic answer. You plan the shoot. The shoot doesn’t care about your plan.Audio cut out for no reason. The room turned into a furnace. My client stopped believing in the words he was supposed to say. Then a stranger walked in, took over the space, and the day basically ended on someone else’s terms.By the time it was done, we almost didn’t want to use any of it.That night, with just a phone and two clip-on mics, we tried one more time — and got the best footage of the day. Ended up unlocking a format I didn’t even know I was looking for.Nothing about that day went to plan. The plan was never really the point. by @markkrizsan

I think what actually gets me is I’ll look at someone’s “impossible“ situation and see three ways out of it in like 30 seconds.obviously it’s not ‘cause I’m smarter but I just never let myself stop looking.you know, most people quit searching the moment it gets uncomfortable and then just live there, just stuck.so if you want more of this type of perspective just hit me with a follow 🙂‍↕️ by @markkrizsan

nobody warns you the new floor still feels shaky for a while.you cleared the ceiling. your legs just haven’t caught up yet.give it time…it stops feeling like standing on shifting sands and starts feeling like standing on solid ground.what ceiling are you still bracing against, even though you already broke through it? by @markkrizsan

can I tell you what I actually believe about focus now?for a long time I thought mine was broken. some days I can barely hold a task for five minutes. other days I’ll disappear into something for six hours and completely forget to eat. I discovered I have ADHD, and for a while that just felt like proof I couldn’t trust my own attention.then I actually paid attention to the pattern. it was never about willpower. those two versions of me weren’t running on the same fuel at all. one version was forcing it. the other wasn’t forcing anything, because something in me had already decided this actually matters.that’s the part I think almost nobody wants to admit. focus isn’t something you get right by trying harder. it’s a response. your brain already decided whether something’s worth its attention before you ever sat down to do it. so you don’t fix resistance by pushing against it. you fix it by asking what the thing would have to become for the answer to already be yes.I might be managing my attention better lately. I’ve stopped fighting with it.this is what it actually looks like on the other side of that. still building. still working. with this brain and all. by @markkrizsan
