A few years ago, when I got sick, I fell into the darkest place I’ve ever been. I don’t have perfect words for it — the closest I can get is intense spiritual warfare. Demonic attacks.

In the years before that, I’d started praying a lot. But I was never fully repenting. I didn’t fully understand it. I was in between, thinking I had it figured out on my own and idolizing the wrong things without knowing it.

Then it got so bad I almost ended my own life. One day, out of no where I remember feeling like a robot, completely out of control of my own mind within the hour. It was dark outside, and out of nowhere my eyes were blinded by a beaming golden light. I immediately was back in my body and drove home.

Growing up, I disliked the church — the way it twisted religion for its own gain, the false teachings, the way it seemed to serve itself more than God. That kept me from ever opening the Bible for myself. But that day, God put me on my feet and humbled me completely. It almost felt like starting my entire life over as a baby. So I started reading…

This isn’t me telling you to read the Bible. I don’t care what you call me or think about religion - I follow Jesus. But once you actually read it for yourself, you realize it’s a book about life. All of it. Things the church rarely teaches — the spiritual world, why the world feels the way it does. The biblical Jesus. It’s in there.

Everyone’s on their own path. Mine almost ended. I believe Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When you’re ready, he’ll save you. Humble you. Forgive you. Teach you. Give you grace & love.

Jeremiah warned about this — building your life on broken idols that were never going to hold you up. His story was ultimately one of repentance and restoration. God was quick to remind to his people “I will build you up again and again.” #jesus #godisgood by @marknechi

God never leads through fear. He leads through love, truth, peace, and free will.

The enemy wants confusion, distraction, outrage, division, and noise.

God wants awakening. He wants your heart.

Faith was never about making God stronger.
Faith is what reminds us who we are when the world tries to make us forget.

“For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

“You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

The healing journey… Im sharing this as a bit of a life and health update but also hope it can help anyone going through anything difficult in their lives. I have been battling a serious health issue for 2 years now and with that it has brought the deepest emotional damage but also the most resilience and strength. With the world as crazy as it is right now, I felt like it’s a good time to share.

I wish I had all of the answers, it’s been a battle of parasites, metal toxicity, viruses but I am healing. I have kicked lymes to the curb and many other things out my body, lucky to have found some of the best people and support to give me the care and strength to make it through this healthier than ever before. This experience feels like and sometimes does wipe away everything in your life and for a lot of my time I felt I was drowning not able to see the light. For anyone going through something just know it gets better and you will look at everything differently soon and I know it’s hard but the world needs you. For me the toughest times you see everyone living their lives, you isolate yourself to harness your energy, you lose friends because you have to focus on you, you don’t want to feel like the negative energy in the room so you stop reaching out, you want to feel normal but you just can’t be the same yet so you isolate again, you feel you are draining others around you but you are just going through one of the most difficult things in your life, your life gets backed up and you feel more stressed trying to fix it or even thinking about fixing it, you feel different, doctors can’t explain it, you have trust issues, but than there’s the light… The smallest wins start to overcome all the shit you were feeling before, your isolation has now brought you the most strength and love for yourself you have ever had before, you realize lying their alone without answers built a trust for yourself that deepened your intuition, your energy slowly comes back, you are hyper focused and things start to click, and the light shines through. You forgive yourself and others and send love to them. You know you are getting through this even if you don’t have all the answers. by @marknechi
