We told ourselves from the beginning if we didn’t win, we would run every leg of the race. And if we didn’t run every leg of the race we were going to be able to look back at how we ran the race and be proud of ourselves.

The race changed our lives, we had far from an easy race and when pushed to our limits, we learned what we really are capable of. We laughed, a lot, we cried, a lot, and we made lifelong memories, not only with each other, but with new friends we love deeply.

The truth is we were a lot stronger as a team than we had imagined. The race taught us to remember to have fun and to meet the moment, because you CAN. There’s a lot of things you can’t control but these things you can, and for that, we’re so grateful. Grateful to be a part of @theamazingrace family and to have been gifted this seed of belief in ourselves that’s been planted. 🌎🛫🩵 what an adventure. by @markromain

The quotes for what we wanted to do were way too high so we did it ourselves and saved a ton of money! Neither of us have experience with home renovations but this was our first project together 🏡❤️

My babygirl. I keep hearing how much it hurts is a reflection of how much you loved them, and it feels like someone has punched a hole through my soul. From the moment I set you down and you started bossing around the whole household, to never being able to discipline you cause it just riled you up, hating to be cuddled but loving to be hugged, flunking out of Barn Hunt, and your 7am tail thumping wake up calls, you’ve filled our home with love. It feels empty without you.

The joy you and your brother gifted our family is immeasurable. The strength you and Bernie both carried while each fighting cancer was not fair for either of you and while it won’t define our memories of you it will always remind me of how precious the times we had together were, all the different phases.

You, Bernie, Brett and I have been a pack longer than Brett and I were just us two, so adjusting to this new reality will take a while. In the meantime I hope you and Bernie are off somewhere wrestling, stealing Turkeys off of counters, ripping cabinet doors off, walking on tables, double teaming innocent pups, and basking in the attention and love you deserve.
